Description: Client’s request: Create a modern functional space for a young family of 4 person, using natural materials, light, cozy minimalism with accent elements (texture imitating natural relief and wabi-sabi-style pendant lights), as well as create a cozy dining area with seating for 10 people. The interior is a combination of minimalism and Japandi style, mainly natural colors and materials are used, the lighting provides for soft evening and more functional daytime scenarios. The combination of minimalist functionality, cozy aesthetics with wabi-sabi elements is timeless. A wood-burning fireplace with a glass hearth is the heart of the living room space, while the dining area with a large extendable table features wabi-sabi accent pendant lights. On the second floor, the stairwell features a lighted bookshelf that serves as a floor-to-floor barrier from the stairs. All walls and ceilings of the interior of the house are made in the same color scheme, and are also connected to each other by other common elements: veneered wooden panels and lighting that is uniform in style.
